We are looking for good PhD applications who are interested in computer animation, robotics and compuber graphics.
We are one of the strongest research groups in the area of computer animation and robotics in the UK, regularly publishing papers in ACM Transactions on Graphics, IEEE Transactions on Graphics and Visualization, SIGGRAPH related conferences, and prestigious robotics conferences / journals

have good opportunities of full funding from the joint scheme of University of Edinburgh and China Scholarship Council.

Applicants should apply to the School of Informatics, University of Edinburgh for PhD admission by 30th January 2015, and should complete a China Scholarship Council/University of Edinburgh Joint Scholarship application form which should be submitted to the School of Informatics the same time as making an application for PhD admission.
Also, check the English requirements for the admission; applicants may need to prepare for this early enough.
- Students interested in
computational biomechanics
and biologically relevant graphics projects with us are directed to the
Neuroinformatics Doctoral Training (DTC) Program at the University of
Edinburgh for possibility of funding. (Please send me your background/CV
and proposal within the framework of the DTC agenda and if appropriate,
I will be happy to write a support letter -- you still need to get
admitted through the regular channel).
